Powers' Express

Accent on membership €”                             Powers Express

Ray and Alvina Powers opened Powers Express in April 2003. Since then, the folks over at Powers€™ have been serving up hot food and friendly service to familiar faces as well as visitors who happen to stop on their way through. Located on Highway 60 between Hardinsburg and Cloverport, it is a convenient stop for fuel, grocery items, cigarettes, lottery tickets, and even hot meals. Powers Express is the place to stop for an early morning pick-me-up with cappuccino and fresh-brewed coffee €“ especially with free coffee every Monday! The deli serves biscuits and gravy, large cinnamon rolls, and breakfast sandwiches starting bright and early at 5 AM.

Not a morning person? They will happily take care of your lunch and dinner needs too. Visit the deli at Powers Express if you are in the mood for hand-breaded fried chicken, chicken tenders, or potato wedges. Maybe something else whets your appetite? Try any of the homemade vegetables such as green beans, macaroni and cheese, baked apples or one of the various daily special meats or vegetables. Don€™t forget about their made-from-scratch fried cornbread and fruit cobblers. Bulk orders are also available if you find yourself with several mouths to feed. Pizzas are also available in two different sizes and with a wide range of toppings.

The store also has an extensive grocery section with not only chips, candy, snack cakes, and sodas, but also milk, eggs, bread, canned goods, sugar, and various other staples. You can also pick up phone cards and hunting and fishing licenses while you are there. Powers Express offers expedient one-stop shopping without having to travel too far out of the way.

Powers Express is open from 5:00 AM to 10:00 PM.  270-788-3278
